"Stay Active, Breathe Healthy" Project Brought to Life for Nursing Home Residents

The "Stay Active, Breathe Healthy" project, prepared by Physical Education and Sports Teaching program students Şerifenur Karakoyun, Sude Zorer, Songül İpek, and Aleyna Yalçın, was brought to life through a meaningful event for nursing home residents.

As part of the Community Service Practices course coordinated by Assist. Prof. Sevim Handan YILMAZ, the event featured breathing exercises led by Physiotherapist Ömre OFLUOĞLU, while our students demonstrated easy-to-perform exercises that residents can practice at home.

Throughout the event, the nursing home residents enjoyed participating in exercises that supported both their physical and mental well-being. We congratulate Assist. Prof. Sevim Handan YILMAZ, our students, and Physiotherapist Ömre OFLUOĞLU for this meaningful initiative.
