"Speak Up! Episode 1: Sport Talks" Event was Held

The first episode of our English speaking event, "Speak Up! Sport Talks," was held at the Bartın University Faculty of Sport Sciences cafeteria. Coordinated by Research Assistants Aslıhan AYGÜNEŞ and Ferhat DEMİR, the event also welcomed the participation of our department head Assist. Prof. Murat ÇELEBİ, a faculty member in our department. Starting with introductory dialogues, the conversation continued with students discussing topics like their academic program, career plans, and sports backgrounds. It was observed that, although students were initially shy, they began to engage more as the discussion progressed and ultimately enjoyed the event. It was decided that similar English speaking activities would continue in the future.
