Great Success from Bartın University Bocce Team at Ünilig Turkey Championship

Between January 30 and February 2, the Ünilig Bocce Turkey Championship was held in Mersin with the participation of 27 universities. Bartın University Bocce Team, under the coaching of Assist. Prof. Murat Çelebi, achieved great success by winning a total of 6 medals.

Representing Bartın University, Turan IŞIKFENER secured second place in both the Men’s Altınnokta and Men’s Petankcategories. Merve DENİZ also claimed second place in the Women’s Altınnokta and Women’s Volo Basamakcategories. Additionally, Turan IŞIKFENER and Merve DENİZ won third place in the Mixed Basamak category.

With these outstanding achievements, the Bartın University Bocce Team made a strong impression at the championship, adding another significant success to the university’s sports accomplishments.
