Nature Sports Club Organizes an Orientation Event
One of the active student communities of Bartın University’s Department of Physical Education and Sports, the Nature Sports Club, organized an orientation event under the guidance of its academic advisor, Assist. Prof. Sevim Handan YILMAZ.
As part of the event, club members and newly joined students visited a horse farm to enjoy a day immersed in nature. The students gathered at the farm, sang songs, and danced to traditional performances such as the halay. Throughout the day, they participated in various activities, enjoying themselves while also getting to know one another.
Assist. Prof. Sevim Handan YILMAZ, in her remarks at the end of the event, emphasized the positive impact of nature sports on individuals and highlighted that such activities foster collaboration and solidarity among students.
The Nature Sports Club announced that it would continue its activities in the upcoming period with various nature hikes, canoeing, camping events, and environmental awareness initiatives.
