On June 19, 2026, under the coordination of Assoc. Dr. Sevim Handan Yılmaz, a faculty member of our department, a canoe event was organized for the children staying at the Child Houses Coordination Center Directorate and MİKA-DER Child Houses Site Directorate.

Hosted by the Western Black Sea Coast Guard Group Command and supported by the Bartın University Faculty of Sport Sciences, the event aimed to introduce children to water sports and develop their teamwork, self-confidence, and social skills.

This meaningful activity, held in touch with nature and contributing to the personal development of the children, was successfully completed through the cooperation of our community stakeholders. We would like to thank all the institutions and officials who contributed to the event.
