Within the scope of the Community Service Practices Course given to 2nd year students at Bartın University, Faculty of Sports Sciences, Department of Physical Education and Sports, the worn out, deformed and unusable bird nests within the borders of our Campus are repaired, renovated, painted and their feeders are made, On 18.12.2023, it was hung in pre-determined places within our Faculty and Campus with the help of technical staff of the construction works department. On this occasion, the needs of birds regarding shelter and feed during the winter season were met, the environmental awareness of our students taking the course was increased, and they were enabled to personally participate in the practice and carry out the tasks and procedures that were included in the course learning outcomes. Lecturer in charge of the course, Dr. Murat SARIKABAK said, "We would like to thank the Department of Construction Affairs and the Department of Health, Culture and Sports for their support during the practices carried out within the scope of this activity, our students who participated in the course, our Department of Physical Education and Sports and the management of the Faculty of Sports Sciences."
