Bartın University  Faculty of Sports Sciences continues its strong growth in the field of postgraduate education. With the aim of increasing innovative studies in the field of sports sciences and contributing to the development of physical education and sports at an academic level, the PhD Program in Physical Education and Sports has been established within our faculty.

Along with our newly opened doctoral program, it is aimed to train qualified researchers who will shape the future of Turkish sports, to carry scientific projects to international standards, and to enhance academic productivity across a wide spectrum ranging from sports pedagogy to sports health.

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet AKKAYA, stated that the new doctoral program is a great asset for both our university and the sports sciences community, and extended his gratitude to all our academic and administrative human resources who contributed to the establishment of the program.

Within a continuously evolving and productive academic environment, we wish our new doctoral program to be beneficial to the entire scientific world, our university, and future prospective scholars.
