A Fun Touch to Zero Waste Awareness: Paper Airplane Competition Held
The Zero Waste Paper Airplane Competition, organized in collaboration with the Department of Recreation and the Sports Club, whose academic advisor is our faculty member Research Assistant Ayşe Kübra Aktaş, attracted great interest.
The event began with informative presentations on the theme of “Zero Waste” delivered by academic guests from the General Secretariat of Bartın University. Students had the opportunity to raise awareness about waste management and environmental sustainability.
Following the presentations, students participated in the competition by crafting paper airplanes using the waste paper they brought with them. The event featured colorful and enjoyable moments, fostering both environmental consciousness and an atmosphere of fun.
Participation certificates will be sent via e-mail to all students who took part in the competition.
This activity served as an exemplary initiative in promoting environmental awareness and supporting social interactionwithin the university community.
